Hitty Preble comes with an information and activity booklet, designed to help you and your child enjoy Hitty play. The child-level booklet introduces Hitty, tells how Rachel Field came to write Hitty, Her First Hundred Years, and reviews Hitty's first few adventures from the book. It suggests reading the original book, and mailing Hitty to a friend or pen pal, with a letter, to let her enjoy more exciting adventures. The booklet also includes three complete paper outfits that you cut out, and ends with a short summary of the life of Rachel Field.
